I’m sure any of you who follow me on social media will have seen my onslaught of holiday photos over the last few days. We flew out on Saturday morning and arrived at the ME hotel in Santa Eulalia around midday. I could barely believe my eyes. Every element of the ME is so beautiful. The bedrooms are crisp, clean and minimal (my favourite), and the views are stunning from every angle.
As soon as we arrived we got straight to it, shooting poolside and trying to capture as much of this amazing place as possible for you all. It was great to be there with some of my favourite bloggers, getting tips, advice and sharing creative insight.
(Had to get a pool selfie with Lydia)
On Saturday evening we all went for dinner at Bambuddha. We were exhausted from such a long day but the food and the atmosphere definitely made it worth being awake almost 24 hours straight. Bambuddha’s ‘MediterrAsian’ cuisine was second to none. I loved their Asian dining style where everyone shares the food. There were 7 different main meals. Three or four plates worth of each main were shared between 9 of us. The concept is fantastic, it enables you to try so many different dishes without being stuck to one and ending up with food envy of the person sat next to you! The only problem is you don’t realise quite how much you’re eating, we were all stuffed by the end of our 7 mains (so of course we all got desert too).
Sunday morning I woke up early to attend one of The ME’s complimentary Yoga sessions with Tamara and Victoria. The sky was overcast and the morning air was crisp, it was a perfect start to the day. Yoga and a light breakfast was the ideal combination to help Saturday night’s food baby subside.
After breakfast we went exploring the seafront and shooting outfits on the shore.
Then came the craziness. The Ocean Beach x Lipsy London Ibiza Spray Opening Party. It was the most bizarre but incredible experience. The main thing I learnt on Saturday was that I’m not very good at spraying champagne. There were endless cocktails and amazing bites to eat all day. The Lipsy crew and Ocean Beach went all out to make our experience a memorable one and they definitely succeeded.
Sunday night was spent in the small but mighty La Oliva restaurant, eating far too much and chatting non stop. When we got back to the hotel you could sense everyone wishing for just one more day on this beautiful island.
I’d like to extend my thanks to the ME Hotel for being so hospitable, Ocean Beach for a fantastic experience, all of the blogger girls for being such amazing company and of course to the Lipsy team for all of their hard work, organisation and never ending generosity.
