It’s been a few days since I was last in the gym. Today we were back in full force training chest. Five exercises, four sets per exercise (apart from the last exercise because I completely exhausted myself). I’ve linked the exercises to bodybuilding.com so you can see the proper form. It’s been a long while since I trained chest and I’m not looking forward to the DOMS considering I’m already struggling to lift my arms up.
As mentioned in my previous post please bare in mind different people will need different weights depending on ability. The weight I use might be too light or too heavy so make sure you change it to suit you.
Exercise One – Barbell Bench Press
1x 10 reps 20kg (warm up set)
3x 8 reps 30kg
1x Drop Set – 4 reps 30kg | 6 reps 20kg
Exercise Two – Butterfly
4x 8 reps 25kg
Exercise Three – Barbell Incline Bench Press
1x 6 reps 20kg
1x 8 reps 20kg
2x 6 reps 20kg
Exercise Four – Bent-Arm Dumbbell Pullover
4x 8 reps 12kg
Exercise Five – Low Cable Crossover
3x 8 reps 7.5kg
